Alternative scenarios

When something does not go as planned

Not enough stock

Trigger
The customer tries to add or order more units than are available.
System response
Shows a clear warning with the available quantity and does not allow exceeding it – in the cart and again at checkout.

Payment declined or cancelled

Trigger
The payment provider returns “declined”, or the customer cancels the payment.
System response
The order is saved but not shown as paid. The customer is offered to retry or choose another payment method.

No delivery information

Trigger
The delivery service does not send a status update.
System response
Keeps the last confirmed status and never creates unconfirmed updates, so the customer sees reliable information.

  5. Deployment

Launch on the cloud server with HTTPS and backups.

  6. Maintenance

Fix errors, update content, add improvements.

  7. Retirement

Archive data securely and migrate to a successor.
